Fifteen years on the roads of Finland. Bandidos MC Downtowns history equals to history of Bandidos MC Finland. From Downtown chapter Bandidos MC Finland has grown to eight chapters plus supporters. 28th aug we selebrated the anniversary at chapter Downtown clubhouse
Huge party with huge ammount of people, huge ammount of Brothers!
Hard work and strong dedication with this kind of event makes the party. Food was exellent and no one was left hungry - or thirsty! Lot of program: rock star Andy McCoy with his band, wierd magig show, dancegirls, professional deejays, fireshow and huge fireworks!
You can describe this with one word, Brotherhood. Bandidos MC Downtown clearly had a goal to make this party for Brothers to enjoy, and have great time during the weekend.
Original member Kaide 1 %er celebrated his 15th. anniversary 18.8.2010. Kaide is sitting lifetime sentence in prison but anniversary date he get his first leave, 6 hour and 5 of those he was riding his bike. 28.8 Downtown chapter celebrated their anniversary and then Kaide got some visitors Denmark, Kok and big Jan who bring strong greetings from jail. One of special guests in party was second world war veteran Erkki Makkonen.

Every year, the Bandidos Motorcycle Club hosts a massive party in each geographic region of the world for their members and supporters. The European National Run 2010 was no exception – held in central France near the city of Dijon, it was a welcomed event and holiday for members and supporters from all over Europe. A few members from locations abroad – including USA, Australia, and Asia were also in attendance and were able to carry memories of Brotherhood, fun, and the beautiful French countryside back to their homelands.
Members of the National and Dijon Chapters worked long hours to ensure the event was a complete success – from selecting the location, organizing the facilities at the site, managing a never-ending supply of food, beverages, and entertainment, and coordination of work shifts for the many volunteers who kept the event running.
The first members arrived on Wednesday, and by midday on Friday the site was packed with bikes, tents, booths, and people. Many members arrange their annual holiday schedule around this event, so many families could be seen in the campground and enjoying the sights in the surrounding cities, such as Beaune – where it was nearly impossible to drive more than a block without seeing someone wearing Red & Gold walking the streets and soaking up the history and local culture. Many local hotels and merchants had a busy weekend keeping up with so many visitors.
On Friday a group ride was held to allow members and supporters to enjoy the scenery together doing their favourite thing – riding motorcycles. Following a well-planned route, they returned to the run site in light rain and smiling the way only a biker can who has logged miles next to his Brother.
On Friday evening, “Gerry L.” and “The Punchy Slugs” took the stage in the enormous main tent and got the crowd warmed up before Bandido Arash and his Band “Burning Life” rocked the crowd with some well-known songs from their two albums. In the Techno Tent, DJ Toto from Dijon and DJ Taho from Avignon were taking care of the electro fans by keeping the beats going throughout the run.
On Saturday, “The Blue Box” from Strasbourg, “La Section” from Avignon and “Fast Back” from Lyon where playing live on the main stage, and in between shows two hot French girls from Lyon (Lucy & Betty) were heating up the air with their erotic shows. The Saturday night entertainment ended with an encore appearance from Bandido Arash and his Band “Burning Life” to bring the live entertainment to an explosive end.
During the run, people could be seen visiting the many support booths, drink stations, and Chapter campsites that covered the area – situated near a beautiful lake and surrounded by woods. Access was provided by a single dirt road, with members always standing by to help with directions, or lend assistance when needed. Plenty of good food was always available to keep everyone filled.
Sunday morning found many campsites closing down, and bikes and support vehicles heading back to their homes in every direction. There were a few accidents among our large family both coming and going, but no loss of life. We wish a quick recovery to those men and their machines, and would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended and helped make this a success. The Bandidos MC Europe National Run 2010 is now part of our history, and we are all looking forward to next year!

Always nonstop forward and never looking back was the leading idea when chapter Regensburg faced up to the challenge to organize the first so called City-run in the south, exemplary to the in the meanwhile traditional activities of our Brothers in the north. From the time this idea has been born it was certain that there wouldn´t be any rest till this run is realized. The temporal expenditure for example of the choice of the route, the officially notification and getting the licence by authorities laid claim to our Roadcaptain nearly like a several weeks-long fulltime-job. Further all the other preparations had to be done to guarantee a for Bandido-standards appropriate after-run-party at the clubhouse. Beside printing invitations for our brothers we also made a lot of visits to smaller regional clubs in the forefield to let them know that all bikes are welcome. In addition to this great pile of work the circumstances concerning the charity intention of this run developed to another story of curiosity. First of all we unanimously agreed to promote a childrens-hospital, especially for cancer. But despite the fact this clinic since many years continuously is forcing a public collection campaign, did they let us know to our great surprise that there isn´t any interest in getting money by the Bandidos MC, because we would be too ill-reputed in public perception. Fortunately did the medias including the regional tv-station report about this anti-social respectively scandalous behaviour and even quoted our chapter-president in the sense that this clinic surely would take money of catholic church although its public prestige just now is suffering on a large scale because of the reproach of child-abuse. In the end the city-run was held for the benefit of a local society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, called “Lucky Animals e.V.”.
As the day of the run had come, the whole chapter and our support-club Zapata-Regensburg met at about 9.30 o´clock a.m. at the clubhouse to put the finishing touches of every aspects of any relevance to this day. About high noon we mounted our bikes and rode together to the common meeting-point where the run should start two hours later. In the meantime there was the first opportunity for the arriving participants to buy some support-stuff respectively our special City-Run-Shirt or City-Run-Member-Shirt. Group by group our brothers, supporter and bikers of other clubs arrived up to about 220 bikes, ready to let the motors roar, mostly with the sound of Harley-Davidson. It was an impressing picture when all the bikes finally set up to start for the run. Finally the convoy was going on accompanied by an “incidental music” of applause of the spectators that crowded the road all over the complete route. There was not one meter that had not been occupied by people of every age to watch the “motorcycle-armada” dominated by the red-and-gold colours. Nobody knows how many pictures have been shot this day. Fortunately no accident happened and everyone arrived safe and in healthy condition at the meeting-point again, where the run not only started, but also ended.
But this wasn´t the end of the event. The end of the run simultaneously was the beginning of the after-show-party at the clubhouse where little by little the participants and their companions assembled and quenched their thirsty throats with some cold beer. The well-organized catering also took care for the corporal weal with various delicate meals. This event was attractive enough that we even could welcome some interested guests of the neighbourhood who enjoyed the fat-mexican hospitality. At the party we also strived for getting signed our especially created City-Run-Postcards for our brothers in jail, to show them that they never walk alone and always can be granted of the solidarity of the whole Bandido-Nation. Like expected this evening developed to a long-going party not ending until the morning hours of the next day. On the whole it can be declared with full right that this weekend was a further step to establish the Bandidos MC successfully and paint this biker-region a little more red and gold. So we are sure that this will not be the last act of our activities to promote our great Bandidos-Nation and its outstanding brotherhood. Be convinced that you will hear more from us in the future.
